About Us
BLES LLC (Bright Light Educational Services) offers comprehensive educational services such as K-12 tutoring for core subjects, GED test preparation, and curriculum design for homeschools and private schools. Aside from our ongoing educational research, we also provide assistance with operating and monitoring learning programs across the country.
Our founder, Dr. Sheila M.T. Washington, started tutoring in 1995. Eventually, she established BLES LLC (Bright Light Educational Services) in 2013. Since then, we have helped many students gain the necessary academic confidence and skills to achieve their educational goals.

Meet Our Founder
Dr. Sheila M.T. Washington has been a state-licensed and -certified teacher for more than 25 years. She specializes in gifted education and individualized reading comprehension programs.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from the University of Southern Indiana. Afterward, she pursued her Master of Education degree at Indiana Wesleyan University and Doctor of Education degree with emphasis on curriculum design and research from Oakland City University.
Sheila is a mother of four and a grandmother of three. She resides in Evansville, Indiana.
